Dolphins at Ullapool
One and a half hours drive from The Golspie Inn Hotel to Ullapool for boat trip to The Summer Isles and The Minch always memorable whatever the weather but exceptionally stunning on a fine day where the common dolphin pods were in abundance and the dolphins came right up to the boat so you could almost touch them, then on to Tanera Mor, the largest of The Summer Isles, for tea and back to Ullapool.

Big Burn
You can walk to the Big Burn straight from the Hotel an easy well maintained walk but lovely.  This video was taken from Colin’s Bridge near the start of the walk which only takes 20 mins or so at a slow pace.

Spoutie Burn
A great walk Spoutie Burn is between Brora & Golspie 3 miles from Golspie Inn Hotel within walking distance on the beach
